Diavoli Rosa and Powervolley Milano inaugurate the 2023/24 season with a gold and a bronze medal!

For the fourth consecutive season the under 19 Diavoli Power climbs to the top step of the podium in Milan, Monza and Lecco, winning the title of Territorial Champions, a success that doubles with the bronze medal secured by the Under 19 Power Diavoli, two podiums in the same category that only Diavoli Rosa and Powervolley Milano can boast of.

The Rosanero team is therefore confirmed as a winner and it is on the pitch of the Pavesi Federal Center in Milan, which hosted the under 19 and under 18 men’s and women’s finals on Sunday 24 March, that the “training” received on the Serie A Taraflex came to the fore for the 2005 team who, together with the reigning Italian Champions of 2006-07, went on to achieve this success.

In the great Diavoli-Vero Volley classic, the fourth consecutive category match between the two opponents in the final that awards the territorial title, the under 19 Diavoli Power was the expression of a highly performing team game that found its best ally in the block ( 10 blocks in total), recording great incisiveness in attack (43%) and firmness in reception (52%, 27% perfect).

The final immediately went the way of the Pink Devils. From the first exchanges, Selleri and his teammates managed to significantly distance themselves from the Monza team, who tried to change direction with continuous changes from the bench, an advantage that allowed the Diavoli Power to easily close all three sets.

The epilogue is the 3-0 victory (25-20, 25-17, 25-16) of the Grand Final and the conquest of the title of Under 19 Territorial Champions, a success that paves the way for the other events with the Finals; Diavoli and Powervolley are already warming up their engines for the Under 15 and Under 17 categories where in the final acts awaiting them, to play for their respective titles, there will once again be Vero Volley (Sunday 7 April in the under 17s in Brugherio, Sunday 14 April in under 15 in Busnago).

The gold medal is embellished by two individual awards: Giacomo Selleri awarded as Best Setter and libero Andrea Marini wins the title of MVP.
