The calendar year 2024 opens under the banner of great volleyball and strong emotions. The first appointment of 2024 is with the Del Monte® Coppa Italia SuperLega Quarter Finals. Four structured challenges in a single race are scheduled between Wednesday 3 and Thursday 4 January. This year the scoreboard promises to be open to any result. The eight teams admitted to the tournament that awards the cup with the tricolor cockade are all fierce, full of talented athletes and intent on doing well.
The ribbon cutting is set for Wednesday, at 8.00 pm, on the Opiquad Arena pitch, for the match between Mint Vero Volley Monza and Cucine Lube Civitanova, who return to compete after the meeting in the Regular Season on December 30th. Only half an hour later, at 8.30 pm, the pressure also begins on the Dolomites in the match between Itas Trentino and Rana Verona (live on Rai Sport), but also in Emilia between Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza and Allianz Milan. The following day, Thursday 4 January, within the friendly walls of the PalaBarton, Sir Susa Vim Perugia competes with Valsa Group Modena for the pass to the Semi-finals in the postponement live on Rai Sport at 8.30pm.
In just over two days the four semi-finalists will therefore be official, who will meet on 27 and 28 January at the Unipol Arena in Bologna for a two-day sporting spectacle that will award the 46th edition of the Del Monte® Coppa Italia.
