Less than a week after the 3-1 victory of the Italian vice-champions at the PalaBancaSport in the last round of the 5th Place Play Off Group, the Cucine Lube Civitanova will return to Emilia to once again challenge the hosts of the Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza. The single-match semi-final on Monday 22 April (at 8.30 pm with live Volleyball TV and Radio Arancia) will offer access to the showdown for the pass that would open the doors to the 2025 Challenge Cup. In the event of victory in Piacenza, the the red and whites would compete in the last act with the winner of the other Semi-final going to play at the Pala AIM Agsm against the Rana Verona (leader of the Group) or at the Eurosuole Forum against the Valsa Group Modena (fourth force of the group).

Play Off 5th Place – The formula

The four losing teams in the Scudetto Play Off Quarter Finals and the 9th and 10th ranked teams at the end of the Regular Season play a one-way round-robin tournament which includes 5 matches for each team. The 4 best teams play in the Semifinals and Final in a single match at the home of the best ranked team at the end of the tournament. The winner is qualified for the 2025 Challenge Cup.
