Marco Camperi will be the coach who will accompany the Gialloblu in the next A3 Credem Banca championship.
Bergamasco, born in 1974, fresh from two seasons in the Swiss Championship in the Chenois of Geneva, 17 seasons as second between A1 and A2, with the 2019 season in which he did doubles with the colors of Lube, winning the Scudetto and the Champions League.
Coach Camperi introduces himself to his new fans like this:
“It wasn’t my plan to return to work in Italy this year, the last two seasons in Switzerland made me discover how well it works abroad and I would have liked to continue abroad. But the moment I put myself on the market, Sarroch was immediately recommended to me, I took various information, both logistical and technical, and I was intrigued by this emerging company, which has just been saved but which is working with ideas and plans to grow . Once I spoke with the company that showed me its real interest, the spark went off in me and I decided to embark on this new adventure. We are working on the market to build a team that can do well, I am sure we can work in peace and we are all doing our utmost to achieve this. I can’t wait to get started, now I’m busy building the team, but working on the pitch is something else and I’m missing that a lot. We’ll start again in a few weeks and I’m really curious and excited to get to know the whole new environment.”
