Andrea Rughetti, esteemed journalist and huge fan of Modena Calcio and Modena Volley, passed away today after a long illness.
The whole of Modena Volley is mourning the pain of those who loved him and his entire family.
Rughetti began his career as a journalist at a very young age and was for decades an absolute point of reference for all sports enthusiasts in Modena and beyond. Rughetti was a TV, radio and print presenter before becoming publisher and director of Modenanoi.it, the site that he never stopped updating as long as he had the strength.
Andrea Rughetti was in love with Modena and Modena, he was a constant presence, silent, sometimes polemical, but never excessive, always polite, an all-round journalist.
He has traveled hundreds of thousands of kilometres, recounting crime matches in all Italian stadiums and arenas.
The funeral will take place on Monday 8 April at 9am in the chapel of the funeral chambers of the Modena Polyclinic.
