The classmates who take care of the physical and athletic preparation of Volley Prata will also work together in the next competitive season. After announcing the reconfirmation of Prof. Valter Durigon, he follows closely with that of Prof. Carlo Carra. a duo of champions who take care of all facets of the performance and physical well-being of Volley Prata players.
“The 24/25 season will be the fourth that will see me collaborate with Volley Prata – says Carra – and I must say that the feeling I have always felt in all these years has always been one of great feeling with everyone: therefore, when the management staff , first of all the Sports Director Luciano Sturam and the General Director Dario Sanna, proposed me to continue the collaboration undertaken, it was natural to say yes. I have already spoken with Mario Di Pietro with whom I share the attendance of ISEF in the same years, even if in two different courses and with the prof. Valter Durigon we are in constant professional contact even outside of volleyball. There have already been a series of planning meetings and I can’t wait to meet the other two new coaches who will make up the new staff together with the reconfirmed and well-known Filippo Pugnalini.”
How will the work relating to the A2 Tinet Series be carried out?
“In the first team context, I will continue to use Biotekna instrumentation and periodically perform body composition measurements and dynamic analysis of the autonomic nervous system, obtaining predictive data that I will share with the staff and management. Furthermore, I will be available to all players to share, upon request, suggestions in the specialist area that I know best, which is that of recovery systems. Melcalin will also be the scientific partner of Volley Prata this year, providing us with food supplements to support performance and the cutting-edge knowledge of the Open Academy of Medicine Biotekna.”
