The three SuperLega Credem Banca clubs involved in the CEV Champions League 2024 take to the field with the aim of reaching the Semi-finals: on Wednesday 28th it will be Piacenza and Civitanova’s turn, on Thursday 29th in Trento. The Emilians will be on stage in Poland, looking for a victory to follow up on last Wednesday’s fifth set success, while the two 2022/23 Scudetto finalists will be busy within friendly walls with the aim of winning at least two sets per reach the semi-final.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 28 February at 6.00 pm, Gas Sales Daiko Piacenza will take to the pitch on Polish soil to face Jastrzebski Wegiel. The Semi-final of the Cev Volley Champions League 2024 is up for grabs: Gas Sales Daiko Piacenza won on tie break in the first leg (19-25, 30-28, 25-16, 22-25, 15-11), to pass the round will have to win with any result while going to the Golden Set if the match ends with the tie break victory of Jastrzebski Wegiel. If the Poles win 3-0 or 3-1, they will advance to the semi-final.

Cucine Lube Civitanova is ready for the return match of the Quarter-finals of the CEV Champions League 2024. Tomorrow, Wednesday 28 February, Chicco Blengini’s men will take the field at the Eurosuole Forum at 8.30pm. Despite the precious 3-1 victory scored in the first leg in Turkey by captain Luciano De Cecco and his teammates, the Cucina team wants to interpret the match as if it were a one-off match and, therefore, play openly against a challenging rival who will give all for all, driven by the scoring streak of the Dutch opposite Nimir Abdel-Aziz. For Lube to move on to the next round, they need to win at least two sets; a misstep in three or four sets, however, would lead the teams to the Golden Set, i.e. to play a playoff partial at 15 points.

It will be the match that will close the Quarter Finals of the CEV Champions League 2024. The Italian Champions Trentino Itas will host the Berlin Recycling Volleys from 8.30pm on Thursday 29 February. Eight days after the first leg match, where Fabio Soli’s team conquered the Max Schmeling Halle in Berlin with the maximum margin, Trento will have to secure at least two sets to pass the round and, if necessary, gain the pass to the Semifinals for the the eighth time in its history. In the first leg, in the yellow-blue half of the pitch, the performances of Lavia and Michieletto were decisive, with 21 and 19 points, against a Berlin team that was never really in the game.

All the matches of the Italian clubs in the CEV Champions League 2024 will be broadcast live on DAZN.
