The Admission Commission to the Championships of the Lega Pallavolo Serie A, established pursuant to the provisions of the combined provisions of the League Statute and the Regulations for Admission to the Serie A Championships, has completed the examination of the documents submitted by 47 Clubs entitled to request registration for the Credem Banca Serie A Championships. All 47 clubs have been found to possess the requirements requested by the Regulations. The list has been sent to the Italian Volleyball Federation for ratification of official admission to the next championship. There will be 12 teams taking part in the SuperLega, 14 in Serie A2, 21 in Serie A3.
And for the fourteenth season, the thirteenth consecutive, Campi Reali Cantù will also be regularly at the starting line of the Credem Banca Serie A2 Championship. This is a historic result for Como volleyball. In fact, no team had ever previously managed to reach the second national championship, remaining there for so many seasons.
“I am very proud to confirm the registration of our team, which will be ‘branded’ for the second consecutive year Campi Reali, for the fourteenth time in the Serie A2 Credem Banca championship – comments President Ambrogio Molteni –. We are the longest-running club in the category, which also demonstrates the care with which we have worked in all these years, in the face of many friends who have instead been lost.
