Rinascita Volley Lagonegro faced Romeo Sorrento in their second preseason match at the “Antonio Falce” Technical Institute in Brienza (Potenza). The two teams played in a joint practice session, which ended in a 2-2 draw (25-23, 23-25, 25-21, 20-25), the exact same result as the test against Virtus Aversa on September 12th.
It was a match full of insights, useful for evaluating the team’s progress after three intense weeks of work in the weight room and the taraflex. Coach Waldo Kantor’s players showed good character at times, alternating well-conducted sets with more challenging ones, where the natural difficulties typical of this period emerged.
On the technical side, good offensive solutions were evident, while overall consistency, attention to fundamentals, and dirty ball management remain areas requiring particular attention.
