The joint commitment of Bluenergy Group, Main Sponsor of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, and Udinese Calcio on the front of environmental and social sustainability has taken a new extraordinary step. After completing the work on the photovoltaic system hosted on the roof of the Bluenergy Stadium, “Energia in campo” was born, a Renewable Energy Community (CER) that will allow Udinese supporters and companies in the area surrounding the system that will join it, to share and use the part of the energy produced by the solar park of the Bluenergy Stadium and not used in the structure.

Completed a few days ago and created by the expertise of Bluenergy, the photovoltaic system hosted on the roof of the Udine stadium, owned by the Friulian club, is a cutting-edge project that sees the installation of 2,409 latest-generation solar panels capable of producing an average of approximately 3,000 kWh/day. The system, whose panels occupy a total surface area of 4,615 m2, adds further elements of innovation to a sports facility that already represents a reference in Europe for the stadiums of the future in terms of design, multifunctionality, safety and sustainability.

The sports facility will absorb approximately 70% of the energy generated by the system, while the remaining 30% will be made available to the energy community, which will thus be able to benefit from the incentives that the Energy Services Manager (GSE) recognizes for the energy produced by the system and simultaneously consumed by the CER.
