The joint training sessions that precede the start of the season are drawing to a close for SAV Trebaseleghe. On Thursday, October 9th, at 6:30 pm, it was Porto Viro’s turn to host the bellicose Mussi.

Porto Viro is a Serie A2 team, so it was certainly a tough challenge for a newly promoted team to Serie A3. But Silvolley was undaunted and fought point-for-point in almost every set, winning the first by 29 and losing the next three with more than respectable scores (31-29, 25-20, 26-24).

Coach Daldello: “We adapted very well to the various game situations despite the lineup changes. We definitely need to improve our serve management, both as a team and as individuals.” Assistant Donadi: “We never conceded a series of points (except in the third set, which was a bit slower). We touched a lot of balls in blocking/defense and held our ground, which were our goals this week.”
