Negrini CTE Acqui Terme is preparing to fly to Calabria to face the semi-finals of the A3 series championship play-offs for the first time in its history. The opponent will be Domotek Reggio Calabria, fresh from a double tie-break success in the quarter-finals with Aurispa Links per la vita Lecce. The Calabrians, having concluded the regular season in second place in the blue group, against the third of the Acqui in the white group, will have the advantage of the first and any draw at home.
The president of Pallavolo La Bollente Raffaella Caria talks about the anticipation for this match:
“We have achieved a historic result for our club and our city. We have already archived the third place of the regular season to go to Reggio Calabria and continue to do the best we can against a very strong team but we are no less. We have written history and we want to continue to do so. We have a very motivated team that is a pleasure to watch play. I was there in Sarroch where, despite the difficult match, thanks to everyone’s contribution, we brought it home. We have written history and we want to continue to do so. Reggio Calabria is far away, they will be able to count on a large crowd and the same can be said for us. In the first leg against Sarroch we had a great turnout, but for this match we want even more support. My invitation is to fill the Valenza sports hall for the return match on April 13 in Valenza for which tickets are already on sale on Ciao Tickets”
