Negrini CTE Acqui Terme is ready to return to the field for the fourth matchday of the Credem Banca Serie A3 championship. On Saturday, November 8th, at 6:30 PM at the Palasport in Cavallermaggiore (CN), the Acqui Terme team will travel to Monge Gerbaudo Savigliano, in a match that promises to be tough despite the difference in the standings.
Coach Michele Totire’s team enters the match on the strength of two consecutive wins in their first matches of the season: a hard-fought tie-break away win in Cagliari, Sardinia, and a convincing 3-0 home win in their second match against Sarroch. They rested on the third matchday.
Cuneo, on the other hand, are coming off three consecutive defeats against Reggio Emilia, Mantova, and San Donà.
Acqui setter Giuseppe Bellanova introduced the match, emphasizing the importance of maintaining high concentration even against an opponent still chasing their first points of the season:
“We entered the bye week with two wins, and it’s always nice to be very happy. In these two weeks of training, we’ve tried to improve the technical and tactical aspects that hadn’t gone well in the first two matches. Yes, Savigliano has zero points, but they’re still a well-equipped, very strong team, and we can never let our guard down.”
