A new addition to the coaching staff of Avimecc Volley Modica will begin preparations tomorrow for the upcoming Serie A3 championship, which kicks off on October 26th.
Alessandra Ruta will be the new Team Manager for Coach Enzo Distefano’s “Galletti.”
Alessandra Ruta, who retired from volleyball in 2022 after gaining promotion with Cus Volley Catania, wanted to stay in the world of volleyball and embarked on a career as Team Manager three years ago.
As a player, she took her first steps in the youth teams of PVT Modica, with whom she won the regional championship and performed excellently in the national finals. In addition to the red and whites of Modica, she has also played for Volley Ribera, Spes Matera, Costanzo Siracusa, Kefa Volley Cefalù, Holimpia Siracusa, and Anspi S. Antonio Padova.
As a team manager, he has worked successfully with women’s volleyball at Pallavolo Zafferana and, for the past two seasons, at Cus Volley Catania. He is now moving to men’s volleyball and experiencing his first experience in the demanding Serie A3 championship.
