A commendable initiative by Volley Altotevere on the occasion of World Day of Persons with Disabilities. Four residents of the Altomare socio-educational day center in San Giustino spent a pleasant time at the sports hall on Via Anconetana with three ErmGroup players: captain Jacopo Biffi, Gioele Favaro, and Francesco Elìa Masala. Together, they decorated the Christmas tree and played volleyball, much to the mutual satisfaction of both parties. “We thank Volley Altotevere,” stated the Altomare center staff, “for choosing to share a festive day with us and our kids. Although impromptu, the smiles and lightheartedness on the kids’ faces say much more than a torrent of words. Inclusion, which is too often talked about without any clear evidence, doesn’t require much fanfare, but only willpower, soul, and passion. Thank you again!” Volley Altotevere is pleased to have provided these people with a pleasantly different experience and to have once again taken the lead in social work, an area that has proven to be closely linked to sport on more than one occasion.
