For the third consecutive year, spiker Andrea Bacco will play at Campi Reali Cantù. A continuous climb for the spiker from Carate Brianza, who started as a fourth spiker two seasons ago, to continue with a great presence on the court in the one just ended, which allowed him to earn the “stripes” as a starter in the one that will start in the summer of 2025.
“Andrea was a very easy confirmation – says Coach Alessio Zingoni -, given that there was extreme desire both on our part and on his part. He has had a growth in these years in Cantù that he will continue to develop. His role was that of fourth spiker when he arrived, and little by little he is appearing on the court more and more, and he must be given credit for this, and it is mainly his merit. He is a player with balanced technical characteristics on which we will have to work to try to bring more and more quality both to him and to the team. The human side is the main quality that you look for in an athlete, and he has no problem from this point of view. He is a worker with a capital L, and therefore we will start again from the technical, tactical and mental certainties that both we and he have to try to improve more and more”.
“I am very happy to stay – says the spiker from Brianza –, also because I will be a starter! First year as fourth, last year as third, and now Zingo (Coach Alessio Zingoni, ed.) gives me this opportunity. I will be even more responsible, and I like that.
