Bad injury for Daniele Lavia

Trentino Volley announces that today in Verona, during a training session with the Italian national team, spiker Daniele Lavia suffered a compound fracture, with associated tendon injuries, to both the fourth and fifth fingers of his right hand.
The player underwent surgery this afternoon for reduction, bone stabilization, and tendon suturing at Borgo Trento Hospital in Verona by Chief Physician Dr. Massimo Corain. Recovery time, which will be very long, is still being assessed.
The club’s management today intends to focus solely on welcoming Daniele back as soon as possible to begin the most appropriate physical and therapeutic work for the player’s optimal recovery.
