Tommaso Baldini, born in Massa, Italy in 2005, joined Lupi Santa Croce two seasons ago, coming from the youth sector of Pallavolo Massa Carrara. In his first year, he won the regional Under-19 title and played a key role in the national finals, playing for coach Alessandro Pagliai’s second red and white team, Serie B. In his second round of the cadets, in the 2024-25 season, he earned promotion to Serie A3 with Codyeco Lupi, finding a place on a higher-division roster, alongside teammates such as Francesco Simoni and Lorenzo Caproni.
His hard work and sacrifice during his two years at Santa Croce sull’Arno earned him a call from Emma Villas Codyeco for his first experience on an Serie A2 roster. “It’s a source of pride for me to have been able to make this further leap in quality. I’m even happier because I didn’t expect it. Honestly, I was already satisfied with the prospect of Serie B, but when they confirmed my place on the A2 roster, I was overwhelmed with emotion, equal only to that of my first call-up to the Wolves two seasons ago,” said Baldini, a strong center forward and blocker with plenty of room for individual growth.
