This morning, the CEO of Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza Volley delivered balls, jerseys, nets, and other sports equipment to Father Ilungambayo Jean de Dieu, destined for the Diocese of Kabinda, in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Father Ilungambayo, a priest in Muradolo for fifteen years, returned to his homeland two years ago, settling in the Province of Lomami, where the Diocese of Kabinda is a key point of reference for the local community. Here, the priest is sharing the experience he gained during his long stay in Italy with young Congolese, including through sports.
A passionate volleyball enthusiast and coach, Father Ilungambayo has since his arrival initiated a structured program for the youth of the diocese, using volleyball as a tool for education, inclusion, and personal growth. Following a recent request for new sports equipment, Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza has once again responded, continuing a program already underway.
