Lukas Felipe Bergmann was born in Munich, Germany, to a German father and Brazilian mother, both former volleyball players. Born in 2004, he moved to Brazil with his family in 2011. He is the younger brother of Julia Bergmann, a player on the Brazilian women’s national volleyball team.
