The City of Lumezzane Trophy reaches its eighth edition and confirms the commitment of SFERC S.p.A.—a company owned by the Campadelli brothers, longtime title sponsor of the Tucani—to volleyball and to Atlantide, which this year can give back to the Valgobbia fans by also offering a championship match!

The presentation took place on Tuesday at 3:00 PM in the foyer of the Odeon Theater in Lumezzane, where Mayor Josef Facchini reiterated to the press and local business representatives his commitment to maintaining positive synergies between the local area and sport in a city that wants to carve out a niche for itself in the Brescia volleyball scene. “It’s a source of pride to host such important events in Lumezzane,” the Mayor stated. “Our community has a deep-rooted passion for sport, and the number of active associations demonstrates this. We are happy to host the Sferc Trophy, now a classic, but also to welcome Atlantide for a league match!”

The season’s appetizer will be the derby against Cantù on Saturday, October 4th, with teams on the field at 5:00 p.m. Free admission to the fans for the match that counts for the Trophy. Then, the icing on the cake: a league match, the third of the return leg, hosted at the Palafiera on Via Cefalonia, on Saturday, January 24th at 4:00 p.m. against Lagonegro.
