After last week’s rest day and a start with three wins in the first three days, Bcc Tecbus Castellana Grotte’s journey in the Play Outs of the Credem Banca men’s volleyball national series A3 championship is back. The last first leg of the salvation pool will be played on Saturday 12 April 2025. Diavoli Rosa Brugherio, currently fourth in the standings with 4 points, will arrive at the Pala Grotte in Castellana, with the first serve at 5 pm. The Apulian team coached by Giuseppe Barbone is first, with its 8 points, in the Play Out group.
Thanks to Ancona’s rest day and the direct clash between Campobasso and Napoli, Bcc Tecbus has the chance to turn to 11 points (in the event of a full victory) and significantly detach at least two of its opponents for salvation. An ideal condition for the yellow-blue team called to consolidate its ranking in the Play Out, also by virtue of the three home games to face in the next four rounds (i.e. the days that will probably be decisive for the fate of the New Mater). The goal, in short, is to achieve the fourth consecutive success in the play-offs to avoid relegation. The obstacle, obviously, is represented by Brugherio: the Lombard team, whose roster is made up of 11 players out of 13 born after 2005 (and the other two were born in 1996 and 2003), closed the regular season in last place in the White Group but in the Play Out has already won with Naples and lost only in the tie break with Campobasso. On the side of Bcc Tecbus there will also be the home field advantage.
