Sviluppo Sud Catania announces the signing of Leonardo Caletti, a libero born in 2000, ready to put his talent and determination to work for the Catania team in the 2025/26 Serie A2 season.
A native of Varese and 182 cm tall, Caletti took his first steps in the world of volleyball with Yaka Volley Malnate, where he developed a solid foundation of technique and character. In 2023/24, he moved to Serie A3 with Rinascita Volley Lagonegro, an experience that allowed him to compete in a competitive and intense league. Last season, he played for Cantù in Serie A2, performing with professionalism as second libero.
Now, he begins a new challenge in Sicily, in a place that thrives on enthusiasm and volleyball tradition.
“I’m really happy to be part of this project and I can’t wait to get started. I chose Catania because I was presented with a serious and very interesting program, one in which I strongly believe. I expect many of our fans to come to PalaCatania to cheer us on.”
