It’s now a classic in the Italian Super League: “Boxing Day,” which sees all twelve teams in the league take to the field the day after Christmas.
The Block Devils, fresh off winning their third Club World Cup, are ready to return to the Sir Susa Scai Perugia jersey and dive back into the championship, with the match scheduled for tomorrow, December 26th, away at the PalaSport in Cisterna di Latina at 6:00 PM. It’s the second matchday of the second half of the regular season.
In the afternoon, Coach Lorenzetti led technical and tactical training ahead of tomorrow’s match.
The boys also trained this Christmas morning before departing for Cisterna di Latina in mid-afternoon. The Juventus coach introduced the match, focusing on the emotional aspects with which the team, after winning their third World Cup in the club’s history, will approach the match in Cisterna: “We’re diving back into the Super League. We do it with enthusiasm and humility, taking with us the wonderful feelings we experienced in Brazil. However, we know that determination is needed immediately: the World Cup was fascinating and demanding, both physically and mentally. And we know that in the Super League, no one gives any discounts.
