The second day of the Regular Season, the final match of the SuperLega year, will be played (as per tradition) on Boxing Day. On December 26th, Cisterna Volley will host Sir Susa Scai Perugia at the Palasport on Via Delle Province (at 6:00 PM).
On paper, it’s a near-impossible match: coming off six consecutive losses, Cisterna needs to regain confidence and composure. The team will also train (after today’s double session) on December 24th (afternoon) and on Christmas Day (also in the afternoon). On Boxing Day, there will be a final training session in the morning, followed by a super match against Perugia at 6:00 PM.
Daniele Mazzone: “The numbers say we’re not in good form, and even in terms of performance, in the last few games, we haven’t been able to express ourselves as we wanted. Or rather, we’ve only partially succeeded. We need to understand one fundamental thing: the SuperLega is a very high-level championship and forces you to play with maximum concentration from the first to the last point,” the middle blocker emphasized. “For some parts of the matches, we’re unable to do that and suffer breaks that then weigh on us, preventing us from getting results.
