Emma Villas Codyeco Lupi Siena resumed training today after securing a 3-1 home victory over Campi Reali Cantù. The team’s excellent performances allowed them to secure a victory that brought renewed enthusiasm among the players after a difficult away match in Prata. Among the highlights were Luigi Randazzo’s 24 points and his five aces, four of which were consecutive, from setter Mikkel Hoff (who won the first set and earned not only the MVP award but also a record for this fourth matchday). Another positive note was the blocking, which proved to be the most effective of the day (14 blocks) along with Ravenna. The next away match will be against Essence Hotels Fano, who fell 3-1 to Sviluppo Sud Catania on Sunday, November 16th at 6:00 PM.

“The team’s performance was very good,” said center Federico Compagnoni during extra time, “and we took home three points in this Serie A2, which is not a given. As a team, we also played much better than in our last match, and this is a step in the right direction.”
