Beppe Cormio, the red and white general manager, and Giampaolo Medei, head coach of Cucine Lube Civitanova, are on a double mission in Spain. This trip is dedicated to young talent and aims to contribute to the professional development of professionals. As Cormio already anticipated Wednesday evening during the press presentation of Noa Duflos-Rossi, the two Lube representatives will spend the entire weekend in Barcelona to establish an important partnership with the Catalan Volleyball Federation and to take part in the fourth edition of the International Volleyball Congress, which is expected to attract over 320 participants today and tomorrow at the Hotel Catalonia Ramblas for two days of high-level round tables and debates.
THE CONFERENCE
This morning, kitchen coach Giampaolo Medei spoke, entertaining a packed room with his expertise acquired over an international career full of successes and milestones. Other prominent representatives of top-level volleyball were also present, including coaches Marcello Abbondanza, Guillermo Falasca, Nikola Grbic, and Andrea Tomatis, the beach volleyball coach who led the Czech Republic to the top of the world. The refereeing talent was given a shout-out to Rome’s referee Stefano Cesare.
