After the end of the relationship with Daniele Morato, Delta Volley Porto Viro starts again with another emerging coach: leading the black and fuchsia in the next Serie A2 Credem Banca championship will be Daniele Moretti, 44 years old, in the last two seasons head coach of Personal Time San Donà di Piave in A3, where he started in 2022/2023 as assistant to Paolo Tofoli.
In the two years as head coach of the Venetian team, Moretti achieved very important results: in 2023/2024 he came third in the Regular Season, then reaching the Play Off final; in the season just ended (2024/2025) he raised the bar even further, finishing the Regular Season in first place and qualifying for the Coppa Italia final and the Supercoppa. A young, prepared and determined profile: exactly what the Delta Volley management was looking for to start a new cycle.
Originally from San Severino Marche, Moretti boasts a prestigious career as a player, in the role of center. He played in A1 with the jerseys of Forlì and Macerata and in A2 with those of Bolzano, Grottazzolina, Spoleto, Taviano, Latina, Pineto, Sora, Loreto and Ortona, in addition to a passage in A3 with Motta. Considered a “coach on the field”, already in recent years as an athlete he began, in parallel, his path on the bench, leading both male and female youth teams.
