The Mario Maltinti Award is back in 2025, an award dedicated to the historic manager of Folgore Pallavolo San Miniato, a point of reference for Tuscan and national youth volleyball. Promoted by the Maltinti family together with Roberto Ghiretti, the FIPAV Toscana Committee and with the patronage of FIPAV, CONI Toscana and the Municipality of San Miniato, the award aims to recognize coaches and managers who have distinguished themselves in the promotion of youth volleyball. Applications can be submitted by June 30, 2025, while the award ceremony will be held in San Miniato on the first Saturday of September.

Mario Maltinti was the soul of Folgore Pallavolo San Miniato who for over 50 years never failed to show his commitment to the world of volleyball. A pillar not only for San Miniato volleyball, but for the entire movement. A man, a sports manager, who has been able to accompany many young talents over the years, grown according to the healthiest principles of sport, and who has always distinguished himself for having always worked in favor of the development of youth practice and human growth.
