The management of Cucine Lube Civitanova has kept its word. A few targeted additions to a full roster after the arrival of the Belgian international former Taranto player Wout D’heer, an athlete capable of guaranteeing solidity at the block, firepower from nine meters and reliability in the offensive phase. As usual, the first to express his satisfaction is the general manager Beppe Cormio, the soul and engine of the red and white volleyball market.

Beppe Cormio (dg Lube Volley): “Wout D’heer represents the prototype of a modern middle blocker, with good characteristics in the fundamentals of blocking and attacking. He is an excellent hitter, perhaps the best server among the middle blockers last year, a prerogative that we lacked a bit in the past season in this department. We are talking about a young guy who is very eager to work. This is one of the characteristics that we wanted to consider from the beginning. Wout has already had experience in a big club, he was very young when he went to Trento and when he played, as a starter, a championship final against us. I am convinced that we have hit exactly where we had some shortcomings, with a player who knows our championship well, our language and will adapt in a very short time, getting into his role in the best possible way. So we are very happy to welcome a guy who is physically fit and of the highest level from a moral point of view”.
