The Italian volleyball market has gathered in Bologna, and among the key players is Antonio Polimeni, coach of Domotek Volley Reggio Calabria. “We’ve received a lot of positive feedback about Reggio Calabria,” says the Amaranth coach. “Everyone speaks highly of our project, as well as the seasonal attendance at Palacalafiore. Being here is a source of pride, an opportunity to meet colleagues and friends in a relaxed atmosphere.”

Polimeni doesn’t hide his enthusiasm for the new team under construction: “We’ve maintained last year’s key strengths while adding new energy. The roster is young, with a few exceptions like Saitta, and everyone is under 30. We believe and will always believe in the right mix of experience and youth, always giving space to those who want to emerge.”

The coach emphasizes the focus on the local area: “Whenever possible, we’ve focused on Calabrian players. Some have specifically wanted to return to their homeland, a good sign for our project. But we also have athletes from Northern Italy who have chosen us with conviction.”
