July 18, 2025: Exactly two months after winning the Champions League, following the unforgettable Final Four in Łódź, Poland, the European trophy continues to shine and be the talk of the town! Last night on the stage of Umbria Jazz, two Umbrian excellences joined forces, inflaming the audience.

Umbria Jazz, one of the region’s historic and most iconic events, which celebrated its fiftieth edition in 2023, confirming its strength and appeal, chose to invite the European Champions Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia to the stage in Piazza IV Novembre with the Champions Cup!
Argentine centre Sebastian Solè and the new Block Devils team manager, Davide Candellaro, took the stage with Funk Off, the official Marchin’ Band of Umbria Jazz since 2003, led by Dario Cecchini, founder and leader of the band. In their 27-year career, they’ve toured the most important European festivals as well as Australia, China, Japan, the United States, South Africa, and Brazil, but sharing the stage with the Champions League was a first for them too!
“It was an honor for us, so we welcomed them with all our warmth and joy because it’s a celebration for the team and the city,” commented Dario Cecchini. “We feel part of the city now, so we welcomed them on stage! Volleyball, after all, is music!”
