A mix of emotions that only sport can provide. Saverio De Santis, libero for Domotek Volley, is preparing for a special challenge: Sunday, November 2nd, at 6:00 PM at PalaCalafiore, his home debut against Castellana Grotte will be a showdown with his former team.
The first league match, already played, immediately revealed the team’s character. “It was a mix of emotions and tension, but it was great to meet up with old teammates and play with new ones,” says De Santis. “The first set was full of excitement; they gave us a hard time, so congratulations to Green Volley Galatone. But on our own merits, we played well and took home the three points.” The yellow-blues seem to be a team that finds its strength in the collective. “It’s a group, in short. Virtually all of us went on the court eager to do well, with plenty of rotation at the right times. It’s a good first step, and the boys are improving. We’re trying to find the right mix. Game after game, we’ll see an increasingly spectacular game.”
