After a winning tie-break debut against Terni Volley Academy, Viridex Sabaudia is preparing for the second matchday of the Credem Banca Serie A3 championship. Next Sunday (November 2), starting at 6:00 PM, the team from Pontinia will take on Gaia Energy Napoli at the PalaSiani in Naples, in one of the most challenging away games of the season.
“I think the next match will be really tough, on an equally tough court,” explained Enrico Pilotto, middle blocker for Viridex Sabaudia, who finished the first match with 15 points and a 65% attacking efficiency, along with four blocks. “I watched their first match against Gioia, and I have to say they played very well. They’re a cohesive team that knows how to stay on the court and plays well together, so it will be a really tough away game.” As for our debut, I’m happy: we played well, even though there are still some things to fix, but we managed to bring home the result and two points that we’re happy to take home. It was a good match, fought until the end, and we did well to believe in it until the end. Terni also played well, but this time it went our way.
