Dr. Mario Ortino confirmed in the medical staff of Prisma Taranto: experience, technology and passion at the service of the red and blue club
Prisma Taranto will be able to count, also for the 2025/2026 season, on the experience and great professionalism of Dr. Mario Ortino, owner of the San Tommaso Radiology Studio in Talsano (TA), in via Luigi Settembrini 232. A point of reference for the club for five years now, Dr. Ortino represents a fundamental pillar of the Prisma medical team.
The studio, which collaborates permanently with radiologists and specialized technicians, is equipped with cutting-edge diagnostic equipment and is able to provide timely and qualified support in every phase of the season, even close to the matches.
Graduated in Radiological Techniques and specialized in Ultrasound, Dr. Ortino has gained extensive experience in sports diagnostics, collaborating with numerous organizations, volleyball, basketball, men’s and women’s five-a-side football teams. His skills range from ultrasound to elastosonography, up to the use of innovative devices such as the Seqex, a cyclotron ion resonance instrument useful in post-injury recovery, and ultrasound tablets for pre-match or on-field examinations.
