A diagonal in the name of experience: after announcing Sebastiano Marsili, in the control room, Belluno Volley secures the performances of a bomber of the caliber of Stefano Giannotti. Born in 1989, originally from Padua, he has lived 15 seasons in Serie A: including the last two years, in which he wore the jersey of Personal Time San Donà di Piave with the rank of captain.
As the undisputed leader that he is, Giannotti has dragged the sextet from San Donà to the top of the regular season and to the final of the Coppa Italia, obtained in light of the success in the semifinal over Ortona, in three partials, under the vaults of the Palasport in Longarone. And staying on the subject of last year, the bomber also expressed his qualities in the presence of the rhinos: both in the first leg, with 27 points scored in five sets, and in the return leg, ennobled by 26 points in three sets, with 61 percent in attack and 5 blocks.
In general, in the entire season, the opposite hitter sent 486 balls to the ground in 23 games (24 winning serves and 41 blocks) and was one of the best attackers in the category.
