Coach Francesco Petrella: “When you see a new schedule, it’s always exciting because it marks the beginning of a journey and the intermediate stages.”
The three-day Volleyball Market concluded, as is tradition, with the presentation of the new Superleague, A2, and A3 schedules. This eagerly awaited and well-attended event, impeccably presented by Maurizio Colantoni, featured a live performance by singer-songwriter Ron, who was applauded by those in attendance. Between awards, speeches by officials, and remote greetings (Matteo Piano and coach De Giorgi), the climax quickly arrived: the graphics gradually revealed the entire structure of the championships in question, a feat met with great interest by industry insiders and the press.
Coach Francesco Petrella commented: “When you have a new schedule ahead of you, it’s always exciting because you’re facing the beginning of a journey and the intermediate stages. We have a clear idea of what we need to do in preparation to best prepare for a championship that will undoubtedly be very balanced and competitive, and in which we’ll try to be among the top contenders among all the other teams in Serie A2. The lead-up period will be very important.”
Emma Villas Codyeco Lupi Siena will make their away debut on Sunday, October 19th.
