The 2025/2026 Avimecc Modica roster is becoming more and more defined.
The blue-and-white management has officially announced the arrival of Italian-Polish opposite hitter Pietro Mariano under coach Enzo Distefano.
Born in 1999, Mariano is originally from Solofra, stands 198 centimeters tall, and arrives in the shadow of the Castello dei Conti from Callipo Vibo Valentia, where he played in the Serie B championship last year. He also has experience in Serie A3 with Wow Green House Aversa and Aurispa Del Car Lecce.
Now the Campanian athlete has the opportunity to return to the Third Division to demonstrate his true worth.
“I’m returning to Serie A3,” says Pietro Mariano, “with great motivation and the desire to prove my worth. After my experience in Calabria in Vibo Valentia, where I had the opportunity to compete in a still important context, I feel I’ve grown a lot, both as a player and as a person. I’m coming to Modica with the ambition to give my all, help the team achieve its goals, and continue my growth. I want to be a point of reference on the pitch and contribute to building a solid and competitive group, even off the pitch. We’re a young team, it’s true, but,” he continues, “with a lot of quality and, above all, a great desire to prove ourselves.”
