Volleyball La Bollente has a new team manager. Starting in the 2025/2026 season, Enrico Di Marzio will take over as team manager of the men’s first team, in his third season in Serie A3 Credem Banca.
Although he doesn’t come from a volleyball background, his athletic background, his experience, and his personality have led the club to entrust him with this important role. He enthusiastically states: “I’m excited; it’s an important task for me. It’s a big step outside my comfort zone, but I’m approaching it with great enthusiasm.”
With a background as a basketball player and a career as an educator at a facility for children with disabilities, Di Marzio rediscovered his connection to the sport through volleyball, closely following his daughter’s career: “My daughter started playing volleyball very early here in Acqui, then moved to Asti, and last year she returned to the first women’s team in Serie D. I started hanging out there, learning about the sport, and I loved it right away. I was impressed by the atmosphere and the philosophy.”
