Requested by several Superleague and A2 teams and coming off an excellent season, Federico Roberti is the first confirmation of the Fano club.
His numbers speak for themselves: third best spiker in A2 with 390 points (behind only Cavuto and Randazzo, but ahead of Terpin), the spiker from Virtus is a candidate to become a great protagonist of the next season. And his curriculum is increasingly enriched: after seasons in the youth teams, in A3 and in the national team (European u. 20, World u. 21 and again European u. 22), another year in a category that could definitively launch the flagship of the Marche club.
The 2004 class does not hold back, indeed, he raises the stakes: “I will be more ready and prepared – says Federico – after having played a year at certain levels, I would like to improve and find that consistency that has been missing on some occasions”. Cominetti, Cavuto, Sette, Terpin and Randazzo are some of the players most admired by Roberti: “Absolutely – Federico replies – to keep up with them I should improve in reception and improve the attack on high balls, objectives that I will pursue this year”.
In the first half of the season Roberti played some extraordinary games. We can remember three, between the first and second legs: 26 points with Prata, 36 with Ravenna and 25 with Macerata, in addition to the series of winning serves that allowed Fano to win the key match against Reggio Emilia.
