Romeo Sorrento’s fantastic season can only be told by those who experienced it from the inside and so, at the conclusion of the 2024/25 competitive activity, we interviewed our team manager Vincenzo Mosca:
Let’s start from the end, the last ball fell on May 18, 2025, what kind of season was it for Romeo Sorrento?
Well, it’s impossible to tell this season, the emotions and sensations experienced from February to today are something incredible, none of us would have ever thought of such an epilogue, a triplete that rightfully enters the history of Italian volleyball and even more so in the history of Campania volleyball and the Sorrento peninsula. It was a season where ever since we met on the first day, an empathy never seen before could be felt in the air, it seemed like we had all known each other for a long time, and on these foundations we built an exceptional group, made up first of men and then of great professionals.
As a team manager, you are the glue between the company and the boys, what kind of season was it for you?
From this point of view it was a beautiful season and at the same time very intense, I tried to put all the boys at ease always accommodating their requests, things that I have always done every year regardless of the results of the camp, I have always given myself the goal of having to leave the best possible memory of Folgore in the minds of the boys who the following year take other paths.
