Federico Crosato, Andrea Truocchio, Mattia Orioli and Luca Porro have been called up by CT Ferdinando De Giorgi for the first seasonal training camp of the men’s national team. Great satisfaction at Sonepar Padova, which thus sees four of its athletes among the chosen faces of the start of the Italian path towards the Volleyball Nations League 2025.
The Italian training camp will officially start on Monday 12 May in Cavalese (TN) and will end on Sunday 18 May after the morning training session. In this first phase of preparation, the Italians will work in Val di Fiemme with the aim of arriving at their best for their debut in the Volleyball Nations League 2025.
Before flying to Canada for the first week of the VNL (Quebec City, 11-15 June), Italy will face the first friendly against Germany, scheduled for Saturday 25 May at 4:00 pm in Munich. The National team will then be playing on May 30th in Cavalese in a friendly match against Iran, at 16:00. On May 31st, the Azzurri will play again against the Iranian team in the BPER Test Match scheduled in Padua at 18:30.
