Another great news for Prisma Taranto and for all volleyball lovers: Galiano called up to the Under 21 National Team!
Our young and new acquisition Gabriel Galiano has been called up to the Under 21 Men’s National Team, a tangible sign of his growth and the work carried out with commitment and dedication in recent years.
A great pride to see him among the 14 Azzurrini chosen for the gathering that will be held in Cisterna di Latina in view of the Qualifying Tournament for the 2026 European Championships!
A new gathering for the Under 21 Men’s National Team.
On the instructions of the Technical Director of the youth sector and first coach Vincenzo Fanizza, there are 14 Azzurrini who will meet in Cisterna di Latina (LT) starting tomorrow, Tuesday 8 July.
After the training camp, on Friday 11 July, the fourteen players called up will remain in the Lazio municipality to compete in the Qualifying Tournament for the 2026 European Championships, scheduled for 11 to 13 July at the Palasport in Cisterna di Latina.
Placed in pool A, Italy will have to deal with Ukraine, Denmark and England. The three-day event will put access to the final phase of the European Championship of the category up for grabs. Only the first-placed team and the two best second-placed teams in the various groups will get a pass to the continental event.
