The second sporting battle in search of the pass for the CEV Champions League 2026 is upon us. Tomorrow, Saturday 3 May, at 8:30 pm with live coverage on DAZN and VBTV, the challenge moves to Emilia, to the PalaBancaSport, for Game 2 of the Play Off Final 3rd Place Credem Banca between Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza and Sir Susa Vim Perugia. In order not to “settle” for qualifying for the Volleyball CEV Cup, the second most important continental event, the home team, coached by Ljubomir Travica, must beat Angelo Lorenzetti’s Block Devils in order to return to the Pala Barton Energy and play their chances in the third act. In their debut match, Simone Giannelli and his teammates demonstrated that they had brilliantly overcome the elimination in the Semifinal from the Scudetto fight, while a reshuffled Gas Sales Bluenergy, with Alessandro Bovolenta forced to play in the center, fought in the first set, giving in to advantages after a record-breaking exchange, and had the strength to reopen the match in the third set before falling under the blows of the black and whites, driven by the points of Wassim Ben Tara and the generous performance of Sebastian Solé, awarded MVP. The 5 blocks of Robertlandy Simon and the 3 aces of Ramazan Mandiraci were unable to turn the match around, which Perugia won with 52% positivity in the attacks. The red and whites promise a close fight in Game 2.
