One of Rana Verona’s newest additions was officially presented at the Platys Center, the club’s new strategic partner: opposite hitter Fabrizio Gironi, ready to bring energy, enthusiasm, and quality to the team in the upcoming SuperLega season.
Born in 2000, and fresh from significant experience in the Italian top flight with Taranto and Piacenza, which confirmed his technical prowess, Gironi has also earned a call-up to the senior Italian national team after progressing through the youth teams. With his club teams, the Vimercate-born opposite hitter has won an Italian Cup and a Serie A2 championship.
“I’m very happy to begin this new adventure with Rana Verona,” said Verona’s new signing Gironi. “I’ve found an ambitious club with clear ideas and a passionate fan base. I can’t wait to get on the pitch, give my all to contribute to the team’s goals, and experience great emotions with the entire team. This is a great opportunity for me, and I’m ready to face it with enthusiasm and determination, as I’ve been doing in these first few weeks of work. The group is close-knit and top-notch: together, we can achieve great things.”
