A few days after the hard-fought game 3 against Volley Belluno, which for the red and whites meant the end of the playoff adventure in the semifinals, at Joy Volley there remain teary eyes and strong hugs at the end of the game, the awareness of having given everything on the pitch to access the final, the pride of having experienced the first season in Serie A3 as protagonists and having rekindled the enthusiasm in a historic volleyball square like Gioia del Colle.
At the end, therefore, of a long, intense and tiring journey like the one undertaken by coach Passaro and his boys, there is only a great desire to express gratitude for the great work done in these months, which will be the basis from which to start again to build the near future.
President Gianni D’Elia confirmed this: “There is great satisfaction with how the season went – he began -. The balance of this first experience in Serie A3 is very positive. We knew we were facing a difficult championship, whose level gets higher and higher as the years go by. In these months, a great job has been done by the technical staff, the team and all the company components. A job that allowed us to reach the playoff semifinal and caress the final dream, which faded due to small details. I have no regrets. The boys gave everything for the jersey, expressing great volleyball. And this is the most important thing for me, beyond the result that unfortunately did not reward us.
