After the boom in attendance recorded during the Regular Season, with the highest average spectators per match in the history of the regular season of SuperLega and A1, the Play Offs of SuperLega Credem Banca confirmed the excellent trend in terms of spectators in the stands.
The average of 3,882 spectators per match in the 26 Play Off challenges of the 2024/25 edition, which correspond to an increase of 7% compared to the previous season, represent an absolute record for the category: never, in fact, in the 42 previous editions of the Play Offs had such a result of spectators per match been achieved.
This data further consolidates the moment of great popularity experienced by the top men’s volleyball championship. The journey towards the tricolor once again attracted a large number of fans to arenas across Italy, with a turnout that exceeded expectations and that gave continuity to the exploit of the regular season.
In addition to the participation in person, excellent results were also highlighted in terms of television visibility: 2 SuperLega matches for each day were broadcast live on Rai Sport (of which 7 on Rai 2), now a historic television partner of the championship, and another 2 on the streaming platform DAZN, which this year experienced its first season alongside volleyball, for a total of almost 300 hours between the two broadcasters.
In total, there were over 380 hours of live SuperLega matches, with VBTV (the Volleyball World streaming platform) broadcasting all the matches on its platform, both in Italian and English, for volleyball fans around the world.
Added to this data are the adventures of the SuperLega Credem Banca clubs on the international stage, with the three European competitions broadcast on Sky and DAZN, and the Club World Cup live on DAZN and VBTV.
