Alessandro Stufano, middle blocker for Domotek Volley Reggio Calabria, closes an unforgettable season with an emotional balance, between successes, sacrifices and a special bond with the city. In an open-hearted interview, the player thanks his teammates, staff and fans, revealing behind-the-scenes stories and anecdotes of a year that will remain in the club’s history.
Stufano has no doubts: this has been a magical year, and words are not enough. “I won’t waste too much time talking, everything has been said by now. I just wanted to thank: my teammates, with whom I have shared every day since September, including Christmas – they have been like brothers. And the staff, who work in the shadows but without whom we could not take to the field.”
A special thanks goes to the physiotherapist Francesco D’Ascoli, who supported him beyond all expectations: “I called him even before arriving in Reggio, for a tendinopathy in the Achilles tendon. Since then, I haven’t stopped bothering him! But he was more than a “physio”: a friend who supported me in difficult moments, even on a mental level.”
