On the day of the official presentation of Marko Podrascanin as the new sporting director, A.S. Volley Lube is laying the foundations for its future, continuing a rejuvenation process that extends beyond the roster.

This morning, the Lube Industries conference room witnessed a momentous transition. Significant remarks were made by owner Fabio Giulianelli and the appointment of his son Massimo as Lube Volley’s vice president, who will share the role with Albino Massaccesi, the club’s CEO. The enthusiasm of president Simona Sileoni and sporting director Marko Podrascanin was overwhelming. Lube made clear the company’s central role in a sports center that will strive for top results in volleyball, as well as soccer, and in the development of young people through the activities of the Lube Academy.

In the front rows of the room were Luciano Sileoni, president of the Lube Group, the red and white coach Giampaolo Medei, team manager Matteo Carancini, and Giuliana Grifantini, president of the organized fan club.

Fabio Giulianelli’s opening remarks were crucial: “At Lube, there’s a synergy between football and volleyball,” he clarified. “In this historic moment, we’re experiencing an evolution. The reputation we’ve earned with our success in volleyball has become a starting point for the Lube Academy’s activities and for nurturing an important sports hub that also includes football.”
