Here we go. Belluno Volley has taken the first step in the 2025-2026 season: its fifth in Serie A3 Credem Banca. At the VHV Arena, under the guidance of coach Marco Marzola and his staff, the group gathered: fully equipped? Almost. Because two athletes were missing from their respective national teams: the young Gabriel Marini Da Costa, a beach volleyball star, and Austrian Alexander Berger.
TRIVIA – Marzola is ready to embark on a new adventure: “There’s a mix of curiosity and a desire to get to know and build the team. In the first few weeks, we’ll first conduct tests, then alternate between the gym, with weight-enriched sessions, and the pool. Obviously, the main focus will always be on ball work.”
STAFF – Has the roster been updated? And so has the staff: “Compared to last season, there are two new members. Starting with Andrea Masotti: he only stopped playing a few months ago and is a young man with a great desire to embark on this journey. I have a lot of faith in him, especially because he’ll be with me in the gym all the time. Furthermore, having coached him before, he knows our methodology perfectly, both technically and tactically, both in midweek sessions and during matches. The other is Matteo Lunati, who will serve as scout: I’ve been working with him since I’ve been a coach.
